Paul Holmes Glass Eye

Does Paul Holmes have a glass eye? Or more generally, is he blind in one eye?
According to his biography or autobiography - he was involved in a bad car crash in his early twenties and lost the user of one eye - ie. he is blind in one eye. It in unknown as to whether he has a glass eye or not - I don't think he does.
